Lates: The world of Nergal

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2025.

Take a trip to Nergal, a game world where you can explore how your real-life social networks and the decisions you make influence how diseases spread around communities. 

Have fun, and contribute to real research by playing the Nergal game developed by . Discover the work of Royal Society University Research Fellow and learn how your game play will help scientists better understand – and perhaps one day combat – the spread of diseases in the future.

Attending the event

This drop-in activity will be held on Tuesday 1 July 2025, 6pm – 10pm.

  • Free to attend, no ticket required

  • This event is for 18+ only

  • Due to limited capacity, there may be times when queuing is necessary for a short period. Please note that we operate on a first-come, first-served basis
