Every year, Proceedings B invites a leading author in the field to write the annual ‘Darwin Review’ for the journal. The aim of the Darwin Review is to showcase ideas and/or a field in biological science that is of very high interest to the whole diverse readership of Proceedings B.

As part of our series of ‘CSEE Reviews’, the 2015 Canadian Society for Ecology and Evolution (CSEE) biannual prizewinner Professor Graham Bell explores the opportunities of lab based experimental macroevolution.

With over 1000 entries into our first ever photography competition, our three judges – Clare Spottiswoode, Innes Cuthill and Alex Badyaev – had a tough job on their hands. They managed it though, and we now have our winners.

Last week we revealed the winners of our first ever photography competition, and on Thursday we’re hosting an event to celebrate, discuss and exhibit the winning images.
